Hand-built from clay, this small bowl features a distinctive studded texture pressed into its surface by hand  no two patterns are ever quite the same. Its deep, smoky black finish comes not from glaze but from traditional straw-smoke firing, an ancestral technique that leaves each piece with its own natural variations in tone.
The rounded form and tactile, bumpy exterior make it as pleasing to hold as it is to look at. Perfect for small servings of salt, spices, or dips, or simply displayed as a sculptural object on its own.
